Welcome to The Butchers Arms

The Butchers Arms is a friendly pub in the village of Farmborough, near Bath.

We serve good quality homemade food and a great range of drinks including Cask Marque approved ales that can be enjoyed either indoors in our traditional setting, or outdoors in our lovely beer garden with outside bar.

Joel and Zoe took over at the end of 2024, Joel, a property developer, and Zoe, a former fire officer. With a vision of creating a welcoming community pub for everyone to enjoy.

We’ve also worked closely with our suppliers to ensure the quality of food, drinks and service are of the highest standards, giving you that fabulous pub experience.

Regular theme nights take place including Live Music once a month, Free pool on a Monday, Games night on Wednesday and themed menus (running alongside the main menu). All offers and events can be found on the pub Facebook page.

We have a car park to the rear and we’re dog-friendly in all areas of the pub. Breakfast and lunch Wed – Friday served between 9am – 2:30pm and dinner from 18:00 to 20:45, Wednesday to Saturday, while Sunday roasts are served 12pm -5pm
